Richard Forselius

Richard Forselius, ScD, currently serves as the Engineering Excellence & Standards Technical Principal at Lockheed Martin, overseeing the Standards and External Outreach portfolio. In addition to this role, Richard leads the Design for Environment & Safety and REACH programs at Sikorsky Aircraft, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health regulations. Richard holds a position as Chair of ISO TC 20 Aircraft and Space Vehicles and is an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven and Albertus Magnus College, teaching various graduate and undergraduate courses. Richard is the founder and consultant at Standards & Leadership, LLC, and has held leadership roles in several professional organizations, including the Aerospace Industries Association and the Society for Standards Professionals. Richard's educational background includes a BSEE from Union College, an MBA/MSIE from the University of New Haven, and a Sc.D. in Management Systems from the same institution.
