Ron Tenpas

Ron Tenpas is the Chief Litigation Counsel and Vice-President at Lockheed Martin, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, Ron served as a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from 2009 to 2018, and as a partner and practice group leader at Vinson & Elkins from 2018 to 2025. They also held roles at the United States Attorney's Office Southern District of Illinois as the United States Attorney from 2003 to 2005 and with the U.S. Department of Justice as the Associate Deputy Attorney General. Ron's education includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Michigan State University.
