Scott Washburn

Scott Washburn is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Systems Engineer (Sr Staff) on the Orion Program's Mission Architecture Team at Lockheed Martin. With a solid background in military service as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy, Scott has developed a broad understanding of aerospace systems architecture, including subsystems such as GNC, thermal engineering, and satellite design. Scott co-founded Geryon Space Technologies and has held key engineering and management roles at several aerospace companies, showcasing skills in project management and team leadership. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with multiple degrees in related fields.
