Shane Smith is an Integration, Test, and Evaluation Lead for the Canadian Surface Combatant Program at Lockheed Martin Canada. With extensive experience working with various navies around the world, Shane's collaborative approach has facilitated improved combat systems and training. Previously, Shane held several roles at Lockheed Martin, including Software Test Lead and Systems Integration, contributing to key projects for the Royal New Zealand Navy and the Chilean Type 23 Air Defence Project. Shane earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, completing it in 2011.
