Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith is a seasoned System Engineer Manager at Lockheed Martin, with a career spanning from June 2008 to the present. Smith manages the F-35 Training Systems Integrated Engineering teams, leading a diverse group of 17 engineers. Additionally, Smith has taken on the role of Program Manager for the Advanced Technical Leadership Program, where the focus is on the professional and leadership development of high-performing individuals within the company. Prior to this, Smith managed a team of 24 Systems Integration and Test Leaders and served as the System Integration and Test Engineering lead for Foreign Military Sales programs. Smith's earlier experience includes serving as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy from January 1984 to September 2008, culminating in the rank of Senior Chief. Smith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Trident University International and has continued education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
