Steve Sinton is a retired LM Fellow with extensive experience in nanotechnology, graphene membranes, and quantum technologies, having worked at Lockheed Martin from 1987 to 2013. Prior to that, they served as a chemist at Exxon from 1981 to 1987, focusing on oil recovery R&D. Sinton holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Chemistry and Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Currently, they serve as a board member of the Golden Gate Polymer Forum and embrace a flexible approach to life since their retirement.
