Sydney Ulvick

Dr. Sydney Ulvick is the Director of Transition & Commercialization (TraCtion) at Lockheed Martin ATL, where they focus on converting research results into operational technology capabilities. With over 35 years of experience in technology development, start-ups, and strategic venture investing, Sydney has held leadership roles at various organizations, including In-Q-Tel and Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Laboratories. They have a diverse background in fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and medical diagnostics, and have contributed to numerous innovations in both government-funded and venture-backed projects. Sydney earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Rice University and a B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder.
