Tom Omer

Tom Omer is an experienced program and engineering manager with a robust background in the aerospace sector, currently serving as Manager of Program Management at Lockheed Martin since April 2015. Omer has a proven track record in leading projects related to Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, where responsibilities have included creating and mentoring program management teams and developing agile and waterfall PM processes. Previous roles at Lockheed Martin encompassed engineering management and systems engineering, focusing on flight tests and mechanical design for SUAS products. Prior to Lockheed Martin, Omer held positions at AV, managing projects and engineering tasks for the Wasp AE product line, and worked as a research assistant at the University of Utah, contributing to various fluid dynamics projects. Omer holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
