Torben B. Andersen

Torben B. Andersen is a Senior Staff Optical Engineer and Associate Fellow at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, where they develop software for optical design and analysis, as well as perform tolerance analysis. They began their career in 1985 as an Optical Analyst for the Nordic Optical Telescope Association and have been with Lockheed Martin ever since. Prior to this, Torben conducted research as a Research Astronomer at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on photoelectric photometry of metal-poor stars. Torben earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Copenhagen after completing high school at Næstved Gymnasium.
