Vera Demchenko

Vera Demchenko is a Senior Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, focusing on enabling a sustainable return of humans to the Moon since 2020. With a Bachelor of Arts in Astrophysics from the University of Colorado Boulder, Vera has prior experience as a Russian Translator at the university and as an Outreach Coordinator at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. They have also held roles in sales support and public engagement, including being a Brooke Owens Fellow, where they interned at NASA. Vera’s passion for human spaceflight is evident in their extensive work in mission testing and lab operations, along with their commitment to promoting STEM careers through public outreach.
