Dr. Vijay Goyal is a Senior Staff Aerospace Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, where they focus on advanced design and evaluation of aircraft structures. With 27 years of experience in academia, industry, and government, Dr. Goyal has contributed to design evaluation using experimental and computational methods, and currently serves as a program manager for funded projects. Additionally, they are a Part-Time Professor at Kennesaw State University, recognized for their teaching excellence with the 2020 KSU Outstanding Part-Time Teaching Award. Dr. Goyal has also held prior academic positions at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and helped establish Innovations in Research & Engineering (A29IRE) in Puerto Rico. They hold a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.
