Dennis Hay

Dennis Hay has a diverse background in sales and technical roles, spanning over 18 years. Dennis currently works as a Technical Sales Engineer at LocknCharge, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bretford from 2018 to 2022, where they served as a Sales Engineer and a Regional Sales Executive, focusing on K-12 School Districts in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana. At Bretford, they addressed customer challenges related to device lifecycle management and security through the use of cloud-based locker solutions and iOS device provisioning.

Before their time at Bretford, Dennis worked at Tech Data in 2018 as a Field Solutions Account Executive, specifically for Lenovo. Dennis'sresponsibilities included consulting and advising strategic reseller partners to build and grow their successful Lenovo practice. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Lenovo as an Account Executive for their Enterprise Systems Group, primarily supporting accounts in Florida. During this time, they focused on sales opportunities related to server consolidation, private cloud, networking, and storage initiatives.

Dennis's earlier experience includes roles at IBM and e-TechServices. At IBM, they held various positions from 2006 to 2014, including System x and BladeCenter Sales Specialist and System p Inside Sales Specialist. Dennis was recognized for their achievements, such as earning the BUE Rep of the Quarter award in 2006. Prior to IBM, they worked at e-TechServices as an Account Executive/Sales Specialist from 2004 to 2006. In this role, they gained extensive knowledge of the IBM hardware portfolio and reseller channel, and successfully executed projects for public sector clients.

Throughout their career, Dennis has demonstrated expertise in sales operations, customer relationship management, and proposing innovative solutions to clients.

Dennis Hay attended the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Computer and Information Sciences. Prior to their college education, Dennis completed their high school studies at Manatee High School.
