Mudassar Shaikh

Mudassar Shaikh has worked in the technology industry for over 15 years. Mudassar began their career in 2004 as an Officer - Application Support at P & O Nedlloyd IT Services in Pune. In 2006, they moved to Cybercom-Datamatics Information Services as a Functional Support Executive. Mudassar then joined Avalara in 2006, where they held various roles from QA Engineer to Director of Engineering. In 2019, Mudassar Shaikh became the Head of Engineering at Lockstep, where they were responsible for India entity setup and formation, defining company policies and procedures, and ensuring that the best talent was attracted and retained.

Mudassar Shaikh has an extensive education history. Mudassar completed a Strategic Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode from 2019-2020. Mudassar then obtained an M.B.A. in Information Technology from Sikkim Maniapal University between 2010-2012. Mudassar went on to earn a B.Sc in Physics from Shivaji University, Kolhapur from 1997-2000. Mudassar also completed an H.S.C from Pune Divisional from 1995-1997 and an S.S.C from Shri Siddeshwar English Medium School in 1994-1995. In addition to their formal education, Mudassar Shaikh has obtained several certifications, including Transitioning from Manager to Leader from LinkedIn in 2019, ITIL V3 Foundation from EXIN in 2014, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2011, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) from Microsoft in 2010, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in 2014, and ISTQB Certified Tester from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
