Carl Wilkinson

Carl Wilkinson is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in the footwear industry. Currently serving as Co-Owner and Director at Locol Design Consultancy since July 2021, Carl previously held significant roles at PUMA Group, including Head of Design for Teamsport Footwear, where leadership of a nine-member design team and oversight of various sports product lines, including football and rugby, were key responsibilities. Carl also excelled as Global Teamhead for Motorsport Footwear Design, earning prestigious awards such as the IF Design Award and Red Dot Design Award for the Puma Driving Sock. Earlier roles included Category Design Manager for Lacoste at Pentland Brands and Footwear Designer positions with Adidas Group and Madison Trading Ltd. Carl holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Footwear Design from De Montfort University.
