Alexei Polyakov has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2000. Theirfirst role was as a Web Development Intern at Ryukyu Network Service Co., Ltd. in 2000. In 2002, they moved to Siemens Enterprise Networks as a Telecoms Marketing Intern. In 2004, they joined Visiongain as a Telecoms Industry Analyst and Management Report Writer. In 2005, they started at Fujitsu Laboratories of America as a Wireless Industry Research Analyst. In 2008, they moved to Fujitsu Limited as a Smartphone Product Planner. In 2011, they joined Rakuten as a member of the Smartphone Promotion Team. Finally, in 2013, they co-founded Locomizer, a consumer profiling technology company.
Alexei Polyakov obtained a Professional Diploma in Computer Information Systems from the University of California Extension, Berkeley in 2003. From 1998 to 1999, they were granted a one-year grant from the Ministry of Education in Japan to study Japanese Language Studies at Hokkaido University of Education. Alexei earned their MA in Regional Studies/Japanese language from Primorsky Jobs in 1999.
