Chase Beisel

Chase Beisel is a Faculty Professor at the Botnar Institute of Immune Engineering, where they specialize in molecular biology techniques and synthetic biology. They co-founded Leopard Biosciences and serve as Chief Scientific Officer, in addition to advising Locus Biosciences, Inc. Previously, Beisel held various academic positions including Associate Professor at North Carolina State University and Associate (W2) Professor at the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research. They earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University. Chase has also contributed to training programs at the NIH and participated in the Scientific Advisory Board for Benson Hill.
