New perspectives from mental health research:

At the LOEWE Center DYNAMIC, we are researching mental illnesses as dynamic networks – in an interdisciplinary, data-driven, and forward-looking manner.

Researchers from the fields of psychology, psychiatry, statistics, computer science, and neurobiology are working together to develop new models that capture complex processes using multimodal data, AI, and network analyses. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding and lay the foundation for innovative, more individualized therapies.

DYNAMIC combines expertise from four universities in Hesse (Marburg, Frankfurt, Gießen, TU Darmstadt) as well as the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education and the Ernst Strüngmann Institute for Neuroscience – funded by the State of Hesse's LOEWE research program.
