Charles Loewen is the Board Chair at Loewen and has held various leadership roles, including Director at the Canada West Foundation from 2012 to 2023 and Director at the Mauro Center for Peace and Justice from 2002 to 2015. Charles served as CEO of Loewen from 2000 to 2010 and has contributed to multiple organizations, including as Co-Chair of End Homelessness Winnipeg from 2015 to 2019 and the Winnipeg Poverty Reduction Council from 2008 to 2014. Currently, Charles is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons at the University of Manitoba and has earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in History from The University of Winnipeg. Additionally, Charles actively engages in being a grandfather, cherishing the joys of family.
