Andy Birch

Andy Birch currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Loftware since November 2025. Prior to this role, Andy held multiple positions at Giacom from April 2021 to November 2025, including Director of IT & Cyber Security, Group Head of IT Services, and Head of Hosting, Infrastructure and IT. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Information Technology at Bradford Grammar School, where responsibility encompassed the secure and efficient operation of the school's ICT environment and the development of its ICT strategy. Additional roles include Regional IT Manager at Pell Frischmann and IT Support Services and Network Manager at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College, among others. Andy Birch holds a Master’s degree in Innovation, Leadership & Management from the University of York and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Development from Leeds Beckett University.
