John Motley

John Motley is the founder and CEO of Log-Net. John has over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry, including yard management, regional logistics, equipment control, documentation, and sales.

Motley began their career in the maritime industry in 1984 as an engineering officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. John then spent eight years with American President Lines, where they held various positions including equipment control, yard management, documentation, logistics, and sales. In 1992, Motley left American President Lines to start Log-Net.

Log-Net is a leading provider of maritime logistics solutions. The company offers a full range of services including yard management, regional logistics, equipment control, documentation, and sales. Log-Net has offices in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America.

John Motley has a MBA in Information Systems from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Marine Engineering Systems from United States Merchant Marine Academy. John also went to St Rose High School.
