Sumit started their work experience in 2006 as a Web Designer at Kabir Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. There, they met with clients to understand their needs, designed and implemented company websites, and developed new web interfaces and graphics. Sumit then joined LOGIC ERP in 2008 as a Sr. UI/UX Designer, where they created corporate and ecommerce websites using Photoshop and HTML, and designed test websites for sales and demonstrations. Later on, they took on the role of Creative Head at LOGIC ERP, where they suggested and participated in the development of new creative design strategies, created impactful graphic and web designs, and ensured consistency and coherence of brand language across campaigns and formats.

Sumit's education history begins in the year 2000 when they attended Kalpana Chawla Govt. Polytechnic for Women. Sumit completed a diploma in Information Technology from 2000 to 2003. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Sumit enrolled at Punjab Technical University, where they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, completing it in 2006.
