John Lane

John Lane has had a long and varied career in the technology sector. John began their professional journey in 1999 as a Technical Supervisor for both AT&T and Comcast. In 2000, they became a Network/Security Engineer for Nortel Networks. From 2003 to 2006, they served as Chief Executive Officer for Logical Front and Business Process Consultant/Senior Field Services Engineer for LANDesk. John then moved to Avocent, where they held the role of Business Process Consultant/Senior Field Services Engineer from 2006 to 2022. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Community Finance.

John Lane attended Sam Houston State University from 1991 to 1998, majoring in History. During this time, they also took courses at Brigham Young University - Idaho in 1995, studying History.
