Braydon Coyer has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Braydon is currently working as a Software Engineer II: Front End at LogicGate since January 2022. Prior to this, Braydon worked at Cognizant from May 2019 to January 2022, where they held the position of Senior Full Stack Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for architecting and developing full-stack RESTful microservices using various technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Angular, React, and Vue. Braydon also led development teams and spearheaded the development of a reusable UI component library for healthcare clients.
Before Cognizant, Braydon worked as a UI Developer at projekt202 from September 2018 to May 2019. Here, they played a significant role in leading the development of a reusable UI component library and worked closely with a multi-million dollar airline client to gather requirements. Braydon utilized Angular 7 for frontend development.
Prior to their role at projekt202, Braydon worked as the Owner/President of Major 4 Apps from August 2011 to October 2018. Here, they developed custom applications for clients, designed and supported mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms, and created several iOS and Android games.
Additionally, Braydon worked as a Contractor at GameSalad, Inc from August 2016 to September 2018. In this role, they provided technical support to users, conducted webinars to train teachers on GameSalad Creator, and created monthly project files for GameSalad users.
Finally, Braydon worked as a Lead Programmer at GSHelper.com from October 2012 to 2015. Here, they customized projects for clients, created premium game mechanic templates for the GameSalad engine, hosted webinars for GameSalad users, and recorded video tutorials to teach users various ways to create games and mobile applications.
Braydon Coyer completed their education in a diverse range of institutions. Braydon began their academic journey at Coyer Christian Academy, where they attended from 2001 to 2013. Afterward, they pursued higher education and gained valuable knowledge and skills. Braydon first enrolled at Dallas College Mountain View Campus and obtained an Associate's Degree between 2013 and 2015. Next, they furthered their education at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, starting in 2016 and ending in 2018. Subsequently, Braydon attended Western Governors University from 2017 to 2019, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Software Development. In addition to their formal education, Braydon acquired expertise in web development through a certification course called "Web Development Foundations: Full-Stack vs Front-End" offered by Lynda.com, which they completed in November 2017.
