David Tunnell

David Tunnell is the Executive Vice President & CTO at NXT-ID. David was previously the VP Business Development at Technest Holdings, Inc from February 2005 to January 2011. David was also the VP Business Development at Genex Technologies, Inc. from September 2002 to February 2005. In 2006, they won the “Technology of the Year” award from Frost & Sullivan. David has also established strategic business and technical development plans to target specific government and commercial markets; focused internal product development to align the organization to markets chosen through extensive market research; led capture plans and doubled revenues in less than 2 years.

David Tunnell has a MS in Technical Management from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
