Daniel Joy has over 20 years of experience in the technology and software industry. Daniel started their career in 1988 as the Systems Manager and Senior Programmer for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Structural Biology Group at UT Southwestern Medical School. In 1995, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Product Manager. In 1996, they founded Southwest Parallel Software, a high performance bioinformatics algorithm software company, where they served as President. In 1998, they joined Sun Microsystems as the Market Segment Manager for Bioinformatics. In 2001, they moved to HP as an Industry Segment Manager for the High Performance Technical Computing Group. In 2005, they joined Microsoft as a Senior Program Manager for the Windows Server High Performance Computing Group. In 2007, they founded Rimini Software, a SaaS appointment scheduling application for small and medium-size business aligned with its Web development and design consultancy, where they served as Founder and Product Manager. In 2014, they co-founded LogicMatter, where they currently serve as CEO.
Daniel Joy attended the University of Arizona where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems.
