Charles Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and quality assurance. Charles began their career in 2015 as a Game Tester at Blackapple Solutions LLC, where they ensured that products met company standards and created accurate bug reports. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer Contractor at Autotrader US, configuring Jenkins and the Selenium Grid to facilitate transparency and suite level regression testing.
In 2017, Charles joined Northfolk Southern as a Software Developer, where they converted legacy applications to JBOSS 6.4 architecture and resolved issues reported through the ticketing system. Charles then transitioned to Turner (Turner Broadcasting System, Inc) as a Software Engineer, collaborating with Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT, and other Turner entertainment brands to integrate ads with FreeWheel and creating regression test plans.
In 2018, Charles held two roles simultaneously. Charles served as an Integration Engineer at Tin Roof Software, triaging defect tickets, designing automation frameworks, and developing scalable end-to-end Java frameworks. Charles also worked as a Quality Assurance professional at HOF Studios, play testing games, submitting bug tickets, and providing feedback to the development and QA team.
From 2019 to 2022, Charles worked at Slalom Build as a Senior Quality Engineer. Charles contributed to various projects, such as NCR Cloud Backoffice and The Federal Reserve of Boston, where they established test strategies, provided thought leadership, and implemented testing best practices. Additionally, they automated projects, introduced coding best practices, and facilitated Agile transformation.
Currently, Charles is employed at Logicworks as a Software Engineer in Test, starting in September 2022.
Charles Lee pursued their higher education from 2010 to 2015 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Charles earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computational Media, specializing in Computational Media. In addition to their academic degree, Charles obtained additional certifications in the field of technology. In 2021, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals through Microsoft, and in 2020, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
