John Lankford has extensive work experience in various roles related to cloud computing, system engineering, and technical support. John started their career at InMotion Hosting as a Technical Support Specialist, where they assisted multiple customers with website-related issues and gained familiarity with E-mail protocols and domain registration. John then worked as a Junior System Administrator at Earthnet, Inc. for a brief period. Afterwards, they joined Spectrum as a System Engineer 2, working in Linux server environments and striving to expand their knowledge in various technologies. Most recently, John has been employed at Logicworks, where they initially worked as a Cloud Support Associate, focusing on AWS and Azure. Currently, they hold the position of Cloud Subject Matter Expert, performing a wide range of tasks within AWS and Azure and utilizing tools such as Puppet, GIT, and Terraform.
John Lankford completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism at Southeast Missouri State University from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, John has obtained several certifications, including Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in August 2022, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator from Microsoft in July 2022, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020, and CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in April 2020.
