Michael King

Michael King has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael is currently employed at Logicworks as a Cloud Automation Engineer since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Automox as a Senior Linux System Engineer from June 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Automox, Michael was associated with Omaha Public Power District as a System Engineer from September 2018 to June 2021. Michael also briefly worked at Walmart Global Tech as a System Engineer from May 2018 to August 2018.

In their earlier career, Michael worked at WEX as an IT Operations Engineer from August 2016 to May 2018. Michael also served as a Developer / Sr. Systems Engineer at Volano Solutions from September 2015 to August 2016.

Additionally, Michael held leadership positions at Attracta.com and McAfee. Michael served as the VP of Customer Services at Attracta.com from October 2009 to January 2011. At McAfee, they worked as a Technical Support Manager from January 2008 to June 2008.

Michael's early career includes roles at ScanAlert as a Director of SME Services from September 2006 to January 2008, and at Jim Hawk Truck Trailers Inc as a Network Administrator from June 2002 to September 2006.

Michael received the Dean's List 4.0 GPA in Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Fall 2021 (twice), Spring 2022, and Fall 2022.

In addition to their degree, Michael also obtained several certifications. Michael became a Tanium Certified Administrator in May 2023, a Tanium Certified Specialist - Cloud Deployment in March 2023, and a Tanium Certified Operator in December 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification from Cisco in January 2001.
