Philip Barber

Philip Barber has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Philip began their career as an Applications Engineer at Vishay Measurements Group in 1997. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Engage, where they managed client implementations and configurations of AdManager software.

In 2002, Philip started their own business, HGCSolutions, where they served as the owner and provided consulting and computer hardware sales services to various clients, including UPS and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

From 2005 to 2011, Philip held multiple roles at Redwood Software, including Senior Consultant and Project/Product Manager. During this time, they designed and implemented migration tools, developed international reseller agreements, and managed custom development projects.

Philip joined iVillage in 2007 as the Senior Director of Project Management and Infrastructure. Philip managed development resources, implemented Agile methodologies, and led infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

In 2011, Philip became the Senior Director of WebOps and Technology at American Media Incorporated, overseeing technology and processes for digital media operations.

From 2013 to 2014, Philip served as the CTO of Spanfeller Media Group, managing technology and infrastructure, including software development, QA, and ad operations.

In 2006, Philip briefly owned and operated Duff's Outdoor Power Equipment before transitioning to Ripple Group, Inc. in 2007, where they worked as a Partner. In this role, they provided dedicated and fractional services, such as CTO, DevOps, and project management, to various clients.

Finally, in 2021, after being a long-term client, Philip joined Logicworks as a Technology Consultant. Their responsibilities include supporting the sales team, formalizing recommendations for clients, and building and maintaining client relationships.

Philip Barber attended North Carolina State University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
