Jonathan Walker

Jonathan Walker serves as the Head of Policy at Logistics UK since December 2022, focusing on key industry issues such as road and rail infrastructure, planning, and urban policy while enhancing member engagement. Prior to this role, Jonathan was the Head of Policy at CILEX, where responsibilities included developing policies for a more diverse legal profession and enhancing stakeholder engagement. Jonathan also has extensive experience as Policy Director at the North East England Chamber of Commerce, managing a team responsible for advocating on behalf of 3,000 business members and leading public affairs campaigns. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Recruitment Consultant at Nigel Wright Consultancy, specializing in the FMCG manufacturing sector. Jonathan holds a Master's degree in Media and Public Relations and a Bachelor's degree in Politics from Newcastle University.
