Sheng (Sam) Lai is a seasoned technology expert with extensive experience in technology scouting and open innovation. They served as Senior Manager of R&D Research & Technology at BMW China from 2013 to 2018, following a role as Startup Lead for BMW Startup Garage. Sheng currently leads Technology & Innovation for Creativity & Productivity at Logitech China since 2021, and previously contributed as an Innovator at Siemens Ltd. China and a WCDMA protocol software engineer at Huawei. They earned a Ph.D. in Control Theory and Control Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2005.
