Patrick van den Berg

Patrick van den Berg, CISSP CCNA, is an architect and senior advisor for PKIoverheid, the Public Key Infrastructure hierarchy of the Dutch Government, currently holding this position at Logius since 2021. With extensive experience in information security, they served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport from 2017 to 2020 and have consulted on various security projects throughout their career. Patrick's background includes roles ranging from Disaster Recovery Consultant at Q8 EZ Biz to Security Architect at Rijkswaterstaat. They are pursuing degrees in Technical Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, and in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.
