Nick Mitchell

Nick Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick began their career as a Training Delivery Specialist at Washington Mutual in 1997. In 2001, they joined Logix Federal Credit Union and held various roles including Senior Training Coordinator, Manager of Service Quality, Manager of Project Management, and Manager of Training & Organization Development. In 2014, they transitioned into a legal role as a Corporate Counsel, and later became a Vice President of Legal Affairs/Corporate Counsel. In 2021, they were promoted to Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and in 2023 they assumed the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Throughout their tenure at Logix Federal Credit Union, Nick has been responsible for managing litigation, providing legal advice and guidance to management and the board, overseeing departments such as Human Resources and Enterprise Risk Management, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Nick Mitchell obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Southwestern Law School, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from Woodbury University, attending from 2006 to 2009. Earlier in their education, they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree at College of the Canyons in 2006. Additionally, Nick Mitchell has acquired various certifications including NMLA (NAFCU Management & Leadership Accreditation) from the National Association of Federal Credit Unions in 2015, Attorney certification from the State Bar of California in 2014, NCCO (Certified Compliance Officer) from the National Association of Federal Credit Unions in 2013, Net Promoter Certified Associate from Satmetrix in 2008, and CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning & Performance) from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2007.
