Derek Moriarty

Derek Moriarty is a university lecturer at University College Dublin, where they teach in the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business and serve as the Director of the Masters in Accounting program. They have held the position of Non-Executive Director at Logoplaste since 2016. Previously, Derek was a Partner at Deloitte Consulting, specializing in business performance improvement and financial management, and spent 18 years as a Partner in Business Consulting at Arthur Andersen. They also worked as an FAE Examiner for Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2012 to 2015. Derek holds a Master’s in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Commerce, both from University College Dublin.
