Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering, UX design, and leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Local Leader at The Interaction Design Foundation and a Content Advisory Board Member at LogRocket, Chris also holds the position of Engineering & UX Manager at OpenText and Software Engineering Manager at Micro Focus, where leadership of AI product development and best practice initiatives is a primary focus. Previously, Chris contributed to UI design and software engineering at multiple organizations, including a significant tenure as a UI Team Lead at Kraydel and as a Staff Software Engineer at ARRIS. Chris's foundational expertise in interaction design was developed at Sourcebits and Edge Interfaces, where a strong focus on mobile and web application design was established. Chris received a GNVQ in Computer Studies from Castleagh College and has a thorough background in both technology and design.
