Steven Dunn

Steven Dunn has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Support Coordinator at Apple Inc. from 2004 to 2006. During this time, they were awarded the "Top Agent" title three times and the "Sales Incentive Winner" for selling the most extended warranty contracts in a quarter. Steven also received a peer-nominated AppleCare "WOW" Award in 2005.

From 2006 to 2013, Steven served in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Paratrooper and Human Resources Manager. During this time, they were awarded the Army Achievement Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. Steven was also selected as the primary communications specialist for 150+ soldiers and trained 30 soldiers on communication equipment.

Steven then worked at Siteworx from 2013 to 2015 as a Software Developer, where they led front-end development on five disparate projects, each with a unique set of technologies, deadlines, budgets, and remote personnel. Steven also directed front-end development on a Time Warner Cable project, which included coordinating the work of three developers, assessing deadlines, and leading weekly meetings with the client.

From 2015 to 2017, Steven worked as a Consultant at Slalom Consulting, where they collaborated on a $2M project to build a responsive, single-page application using AngularJS, Bootstrap, C#, and a .Net Web API service. Steven also built and integrated Angular components into a large mortgage application using TypeScript.

Finally, Steven worked as a Senior Front End Developer at Lojistic from 2017 to present. In this role, they have architected and built an Angular application used by 2000+ clients, managed 100+ production releases, and optimized builds, deployments, and dependencies. Steven has also established and enforced style guides and best-practices to guide the development team.

Steven Dunn's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a Specialization in Software Engineering from UC Irvine, which they obtained between 2010 and 2013. Steven also attended Sacramento City College between 2002 and 2005. Additionally, Steven Dunn has obtained several certifications from Pluralsight, including AngularJS Patterns: Clean Code, AngularJS: Building Node.js Apps with the MEAN Stack, AngularJS: Get Started, AngularJS: The Big Picture, Business Dashboard Fundamentals, and Data Visualizations Using Tableau Public.
