Ciaran Jessup

Ciaran Jessup has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ciaran most recently worked at Lokulus as the Head of Innovation & Architecture since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Engineering at Lokulus from June 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Lokulus, Ciaran worked at TransUnion UK where they held the position of Head of Product Development (numero) from October 2018 to June 2019 and as a Technical Architect from January 2017 to October 2018. Ciaran started their career at numero in 2004, where they held various roles including Principal Product Architect from December 2013 to January 2017, Engineering Manager from July 2011 to December 2013, and Software Engineer from July 2004 to July 2011. Prior to joining numero, Ciaran worked as a Software Developer at Teleca from July 2001 to July 2004, and as a Junior Developer at JNC Solutions Ltd from August 1999 to July 2001.

Ciaran Jessup has a diverse education history. In 1998, they enrolled in the University of Birmingham and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Software Engineering. Ciaran successfully completed their degree in 2001.

After gaining industry experience, Ciaran returned to academia in 2020, this time at the Alliance Manchester Business School. Ciaran pursued a Master of Management Practice degree, with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Their enrollment continued until 2023, indicating that they will complete their master's degree during that time.

In addition to their formal education, Ciaran has obtained certifications from Coursera. In 2013, they completed the "Principles of Reactive Programming" course, and later that year, they also completed the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course. These additional certifications showcase their commitment to continuous learning and expanding their skill set.
