Ognyan Levashki

Ognyan Levashki is currently the Energy & Environmental Management Superintendent at Lomar Shipping, where they focus on marine environmental compliance and waste stream management. With a career spanning several years in the maritime industry, Ognyan has held positions such as Chief Engineer at Thenamaris Ships Management Inc. and Environmental Superintendent at Uniteam Marine. They began their maritime journey as a Fourth Engineer at Navigation Maritime Bulgaria and earned a Master’s degree in Marine Engineering from the Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria. Throughout their career, Ognyan has emphasized the importance of avoiding MARPOL violations and ensuring vessel compliance with environmental regulations.
