Stuart Smith

Stuart Smith is an experienced IT professional currently serving as VP IT & Chief Information Officer at London Hydro since October 2025. Previously, Stuart held various roles at NT Power, including Interim CEO and Chief Information Officer from August 2020 to October 2025. Prior to that, Stuart worked at Bruce Power as Chief Information Technology Architect from May 2017 to August 2020, where efforts focused on developing an Enterprise Architecture team to support a long-term operational life plan for nuclear power generation and fostering a culture of innovation. Stuart's earlier roles at London Hydro from June 2003 to May 2017 included Director of Solution Architecture, Program Manager / Enterprise Solution Architect, and Supervisor of Business Systems Support, with a strong emphasis on aligning IT strategy with corporate goals and leveraging new technologies. Educational qualifications include a Masters Certificate in Energy Sector Leadership from the Schulich School of Business and a B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool.
