Stephen Durfee

Stephen Durfee currently serves as Vice President of Chapter XLIII at the Special Forces Association and as an Analyst at Lone Star Analysis. Previous experience includes working as a Strategic and Operational Exercise Planner at Booz Allen Hamilton, where responsibilities involved supporting USARPAC in planning for division, corps, and theater-level exercises in the Indo-Pacific region. Stephen has also held roles as an Operational Advisor with Yorktown Systems Group and Patriot Group International Inc., supporting tactical and operational units on asymmetric warfare tactics and best practices. A veteran of the US Army, Stephen held various leadership positions, including Sergeant Major of the 1st Special Forces Group and as Senior Enlisted Advisor to Task Force Sulu. Academically, Stephen holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Homeland Security Emergency Management and is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Idaho State University.
