Greg Packer

Greg Packer is the current General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Lonestar Resources. Greg has held this position since January 2017. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Howard Energy Partners from January 2013 to December 2017.

Packer has significant experience in SEC filings, mergers & acquisitions, corporate & securities law, technology & licensing, commercial contracts, risk management, and labor & employment law. Greg has also managed in-house legal and technology departments of up to 15 employees.

Packer received their J.D. from Harvard Law School and their B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Greg Packer received a JD from the University of Chicago Law School, an MS in Accounting from Brigham Young University, and a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University.

They are on a team with Tom H. Olle - Vice President – Reservoir Engineering, Jason Werth - Chief Accounting Officer, and Jana Payne - Vice President - Geosciences. Greg Packer reports to Frank D. Bracken, III, CEO.
