Rhonda Long-Sharp

Rhonda Long-Sharp has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Rhonda began their career as an attorney, working at Foster & Long-Sharp from 1993 to 2012, and then as the Chief of the Death Penalty Division at the Indiana State Public Defender from 1986 to 1993. In 2006, they founded ModernMasters Fine Art, a company specializing in prints and works on paper by renowned artists. ModernMasters is also the parent company of Long-Sharp Gallery, which Rhonda owns. Additionally, they played a significant role as the Founder and Director of Indy Contemporary, an organization dedicated to promoting Indiana artists. In 2011, they joined Conrad Indianapolis as the Art Program Director/Curator, where they developed the innovative "A Fine Art Experience" program, showcasing rotating exhibits and training Art Ambassadors. Rhonda has been recognized for their contributions to the art world and their gallery has received international recognition as one of the top 500 galleries in the world.

Rhonda Long-Sharp holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Forensic Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Rhonda also obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Saint Louis University. Rhonda attended Terre Haute South for their high school education.

Long-Sharp Gallery (LSG) specializes in works on paper, multiples, and drawings by modern and contemporary masters including Picasso, Miró, Francis, Frankenthaler, Gilliam, Warhol, Haring, Indiana, and Lichtenstein. In addition, LSG is dedicated to a contemporary program that incorporates paintings, photography, and sculpture, as well as conceptual and multimedia art by a growing roster of regional, national, and international artists. The gallery exclusively represents in the U.S. or beyond an impressive roster of artists including the Estate of David Spiller, Tarik Currimbhoy, Cha Jong Rye, Dale Enochs, Jason Myers, Sabina Klein, Spiller + Cameron, Amy Kirchner, Sylvestre Gauvrit, Julian Wild, and Patrick Hurst, among others. Long-Sharp Gallery features a rigorous program which features international contemporary artists in solo and thematic exhibitions. These exhibits take place in our physical spaces in Indianapolis (Downtown, 1 N. Illinois Street, Suite A) and New York (Midtown, 24 W. 57th Street, Suite 606) and in our dual-exhibition virtual space (Long-Sharp Gallery – Virtual). The gallery is a member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) and LAPADA (the London based association of art and antiques dealers). It is also a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
