Dave Frederickson

EVP, Sales at Long View Systems

Dave Frederickson is Executive Vice President of Sales for North America. When Dave joined the Long View team he brought with him more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. His focus is to lead the sales organization and assist to build strong business relationships with our clients. He is also responsible for the creation of strategic partnerships across North America that can enhance the business outcomes for our clients while acting as the executive sponsor for the Eastern Canadian office. He is also Long View’s executive sponsor for many of our national and international vendors.

Prior to joining Long View Dave spent many years at HP Canada in a variety of senior management roles. Most recently he was the Vice President and General Manager of HP Canada’s Enterprise Server, Storage and Network business. Before that Dave was CMO, and VP of Channels. Throughout his time with HP, Dave’s strong focus on employee development along with his track record of growth was widely recognized throughout the company. Under his stewardship, HP’s channel partner program was hailed as number one in the IT industry for several years. And that was only one of the many accolades he received in his time with HP. He was also presented with the HP President’s Club award, the HP High Achiever award eight times, and was a two-time victor at HP’s Winners summit. Dave was also named Computer Dealer News (CDN) magazine’s top newsmaker of the year multiple times.

He is a graduate of the joint International Executive Master of Business Administration program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and York University’s, Schulich School of Business. He is also an advisory board member of Schulich’s Centre of Excellence in Responsible Business (COERB) and is a Board member of the Canadian Electric Wheelchair Association.
