With over 25 years of experience as an IT security professional, Jo-Ann has held senior security positions with notable brands such as Best Buy and Vancity. During that time, she has distinguished herself as one of the industry's leading experts in assessing the ever-changing threat landscape to identify and develop effective responses to protect an organization’s information assets.

Before becoming Long View Systems’ CISO, Jo-Ann was Director, Information Security at Vancity, where she led a cyber and forensic team. The team's focus was developing and executing proactive cyber programs that achieved the necessary balance between effectively addressing potential threats while simultaneously enabling the organization’s strategic business objectives.
