Steve Bower

Steve Bower is a financial executive with a track record of delivering outstanding results in leadership positions on corporate boards in a range of businesses. Steve has more than a decade of experience serving on public and private company boards. He is currently Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Long View Systems. At Long View and Invest Toronto, as well as Enablence Technologies (optical components and systems) and FisherCast Global (tool and diecasting), Steve helped the Board and management deal successfully with a full range of opportunities and challenges, including improved governance, CEO replacement, financing needs, M&A and restructuring.

Steve has also been active in professional and not-for-profit organizations, at the board and in other leadership roles at FEI Canada as well as CPA Canada’s Accounting Standards Board. He served as a member of the Board, Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee and member of the Executive Committee of Parkinson Society Canada. He was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, an honour recognizing his significant contributions professionally and personally. Steve has two amazing daughters and recently celebrated the arrival of his fourth grandchild.
