Luke Pearse has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Long Wall since January 2025. Prior to this role, Luke held the position of Head of Structures at ABL Space Systems from September 2019 to May 2025, and served as Director of Structures and Mechanisms at Vector Launch Inc. between April 2018 and August 2019. Additionally, Luke was the Manager of Structural Design Engineering at Hyperloop One from March 2016 to March 2018. Luke's career also includes a significant tenure at Airbus, where responsibilities included Design Liaison/Structural Analyst for the A350 and roles as Associate Structures Engineer under the Airbus Graduate Scheme from June 2009 to June 2015. Luke holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
