Ash Liu

Ash Liu has worked as a Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientific Officer at Longan Vision Corp. since May 2022. Prior to that, they held teaching assistant roles at McMaster University from 2015 to 2020. These included assisting in courses such as Embedded Systems Design II, Signal Processing, Measurements, Principles of Programming, and Real-Time Systems.

Ash Liu is currently a doctoral candidate at McMaster University, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Software Engineering. Ash started their doctoral program in 2015, and is expected to complete it in 2022. Prior to their doctoral studies, Ash obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from McMaster University in 2015. Their undergraduate degree focused on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, and they completed this program in six years, from 2009 to 2015.
