PRITY KHASTGIR

Prity Khastgir has worked in various roles since 2015. PRITY began their career as a Legal Counsel and part of the Advisory Board at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH). In 2016, they were an Intellectual Property Facilitator at StartupIndia empaneled by Controller General of Patents Designs and an Empaneled Mediator for Commercial Disputes at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. In 2017, they worked as an Indian Patent Agent at Tech Corp International Strategist (TCIS, Bharat), analysing regulations in India with a hawk eye approach and formulating profit making strategies. PRITY also worked as a Guest Faculty at IMT, Centre for Distance Learning, Ghaziabad and Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences. In 2019, they worked as an Innovation and Technology Strategist at the International Telecommunication Union, a #BASSLawyer at BitDomains, and a Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Longevity InTime BioTech. Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Lecturer and Tutor at the WIPO Academy.

Prity Khastgir has an extensive education history. PRITY studied at Delhi Area Primary School until 4th Standard, then went on to St Francis De Sales School where they completed their Higher Secondary in 2002. PRITY then attended Delhi University, where they earned their BS in Food, Microbial & Chemical Technology in 2005. In the same year, they completed their MS in Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Rajasthan. In 2007, they earned their LLB Graduate from the University of Rajasthan, specializing in Corporate Laws, Cyber Laws, Technology Laws, Food Laws, IPR, Patent, Design and Trademark laws. In 2006, they received a Certificate Diploma in Information Technology from Hindustan Software Solutions Ltd., specializing in networking, and various web based applications. In 2013, they completed an Executive MBA, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Entrepreneurs Course from the Indian School of Business, specializing in Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Management Entrepreneurship Program. In 2016, they completed a Certified Mediator for Commercial Disputes from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs under the aegis of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, as well as an Empaneled Mediator from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

Prity Khastgir also holds additional certifications from LinkedIn, including Executive Leadership (2021), Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations (2020), Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making (2020), and Intellectual Property Attorney in India| Indian Patent Attorney |Registered Patent Agent in India from the Indian Patent Office under Ministry of Commerce, Government of India | IPO, New Delhi (2006).
