David Bignold

David Bignold is the Managing Director at Longitude Engineering, where they oversee engineering services across three service lines: Renewables, Maritime, and Oil and Gas. With extensive expertise in naval architecture, structural design, and various aspects of marine operations, they have been instrumental in providing consulting services since 2007. Prior to this role, David served as a Naval Architect at London Offshore Consultants from 2001 to 2007, specializing in salvage engineering and marine warranty surveys. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Newcastle University between 1995 and 1998.
