Trystan Thornton is a Senior Offshore Geotechnical Engineer and a chartered engineer (CEng MICE) with a focus on ground investigations, foundation reuse, and reducing embodied carbon. They began their career at SRK Consulting as a Staff Consultant from 2013 to 2014, where they engaged in various mining infrastructure projects. In addition to their consulting role, Trystan has gained hands-on experience in surveying and customer service through positions at Kemp Engineering and Red River Inn. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Longitude Engineering, continuing to advance their expertise in geotechnical engineering. Trystan holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a Year in Industry from Cardiff University.
